What makes you nervous?
When you wait for someone for hours, just to meet him for a minute. When you are so helpless that you are dependent on someone’s mercy. When its not going in your favour at all. When your limitations start teasing you badly.
When you wait for someone for years in your days of struggle with the hope that one day everything will be fine but she never value your efforts and leaves you. When you don’t have any plans to overcome and you have been forced to compromise.
When you struggling for minimal state of living, the physical existence as a human, yet mentally death. When it becomes endless torture, no happiness. When it doesn’t matter how rich, tall, handsome, smart, famous, well-liked you are.

I’m exposed to similar questions in my case.
Your experience are yours. They can be largely different!
Attachment to someone…it’s hard to not feel that way. There can be many reasons why you relate to someone on man topics & issues despite that person not being present in your current life.
Break that chain…the continuous overthinking and nostalgia of the past. Do accept wholeheartedly and mindfully what’s coming the next.
Believe in your ability (to cummicate, lead, initiate conversations, developing common understanding, ideation, courage, “self reliance”). Believe in yourself.
You are enough. Your existence is not not based on someone else’s existence. There are chances the other person don’t regret, look back or seek hope. They are clear, well understood, and stable.
Their life doesn’t entirely depends on yours.
In the longtime I realise everyone wants to be happy more than worrying on someone or something.
You are remembering someone just because you feel happy with them. The point is to happy.
There can be thousand explanations for the POSSIBILITY, but the REALITY is something in/under/through which we live.
