Do lazy days make you feel rested or unproductive?
One morning, waking up and then sleeping for a while, resting even after breakfast, then taking a bath and then resting again, followed by lunch and a lazy afternoon. We all have some days full of energy and some days where we can barely move.
There is a body clock which needs a break, rest and energy to restart. Do not force yourself to embrace the feeling of laziness. Allow your mind to feel the freedom of having breaks and rest when needed.
This helps to trigger the sense that we can take rest when it is needed. Apart from this do take mini breaks. There are many ways to recharge and feel energised to kick start the day and make it productive.
So do not hesitate to take a “Lazy Day”. It might be the best thing you can do for yourself. Remember, being lazy is not a sin, it is a necessity.

Dear friend Shashwat, sometimes doing nothing is exactly what your mind needs to come back stronger.

What a refreshing and thoughtful perspective! 🌿✨ Your words beautifully remind us that rest is not a luxury, but an essential part of maintaining balance and well-being. Framing “lazy days” as necessary pauses rather than unproductivity is such a gentle and empowering message—one that many of us need to hear in a world that constantly glorifies busyness.

I’m utterly entranced by your prose! 😌 The way you describe a lazy day makes it sound like a dreamy symphony of relaxation and rejuvenation.
You make a fantastic point about embracing our body’s natural rhythms and not forcing ourselves to stay constantly active. By allowing ourselves to slow down when needed, we show our bodies and minds the respect and attention they deserve. It’s a form of self-care, really.
These mini breaks, as you call them, are essential for maintaining balance in our lives, for keeping our inner spark alive and thriving. 💫

I couldn’t agree more. I find my best bursts of creativity come when I allow myself some down time.

Well said , Shashwat 😇
Taking care of yourself, whether it’s through a whole lazy day or those essential mini-breaks, is the foundation for having truly energetic and productive days.

RESTED. But actually during those days, I write. I read. I watch but by my own pace. Just enjoying the moment. Because the coming days would be a very busy one.
