Summer vacation

What’s your favorite month of the year? Why?

It’s hard to pinpoint my favorite month right now at this stage of life because every month feels the same. Same work pressure, struggles every morning and evening, same dreams of achieving something new etc. Amidst all this, the difference between months and seasons is unnoticeable.

But I can tell you about my childhood, that is summer vacation month, it used to be in June at my place. Summer vacation is not just a break from studies for students, it is the best time of the year where the alarm clock is on vacation, the school bag gets a rest, and the day is licensed to have fun.

No rush to get up early in the morning, no pressure of homework. Summer vacation gives you the opportunity to decorate your day in your own way whether it is sports, a hobby of painting, or an exciting trip with family or friends.

In the summer vacation granny’s house is new world around us to be discovered. There are new foods, friends, talk to new people, different environment  to live in. We have lots of  memories of these trips, and we fondly look back on these days even today.

    Dear Shashwat
I am extremely thankful to you for liking my post ‘Creation’. I would like to tell you that just now at 3.55 IST I included an important ref to Karna, the most important character from second most important Indian epic Mahabharata, in my post. If it’s possible, please have a look at that.

I can understand that feeling. 😔 When life gets routine and stressful, it’s easy for the months to blend together. The pressures of work, daily struggles, and ongoing goals can make time feel monotonous. It’s like being stuck in a loop where every day, week, and month feels similar. But even in the midst of this sameness, there might be small moments or changes in your environment (like the weather or holidays) that can help you distinguish one month from another.
