How do you practice self-care?
I am the only child of my parents, form very young I used to live alone even today if I am at home I can spend 23 out of 24 hours alone in my room. As my parents get older I can feel the heat of responsibility on my shoulders.
Being an adult sometimes comes with overwhelming responsibilities. You must have to be conscious of about yourself to care your physical, mental, spiritual and emotional health. And you have to maintain a fine balance between them.
When you have to decide the direction of your future alone, then the whole responsibility of its planning and execution is also yours. Then there is no one to interrupt or correct you when you are wrong and no one to appreciate you when everything is going good.
Self care ensuring you get enough sleep every night or stepping outside for a few minutes for some fresh air. It can also mean taking the time to do what we enjoy or you feel relaxed. Talk to the person you like most and spend some time with parents.

Take good care of yourself for them.
You’re their only help and always please them

That all seems very logical and self-motivating Shashwat, and I certainly appreciate the discipline in and of your life. I tended to be less motivated towards habitual self preservation for most of my life. Since I’ve remarried I’ve been much more encouraged to change. Love is the most wonderful motivator.
