Who is the most famous or infamous person you have ever met?
I recently met him with a purpose, and he greeted me with great affection, and my work was done. A great man’s thinking, vision, and work ethic are completely different from those of ordinary people. Whenever I meet him, I feel inspired and energized.
He is the leader of the Congress Party, India’s oldest political party, which has contributed significantly to the country’s independence and subsequent development. So, it’s natural that any meeting with him will inevitably lead to discussions on politics, whether it’s the national political situation or international politics.
Since he was also an IAS officer, secretary to the Union Railway Minister and personal secretary to Prime Minister Indra Gandhi, he recounts several incidents from his administrative experience. He explores how those at the center of power, who wield absolute power, formulate policies for the public and what their thinking is.
He must be around 85 years old. He is book, magazine, news lover and still actively keeps abreast of everything happening in the country and the world. You can talk to him about anything and any subject. He speaks with such love and affection that I feel like I could keep talking to him while he shares stories from his experiences.
