What’s a fear you’ve overcome — and how did you do it?
When a person acts good out of fear of some visible or invisible power, that goodness is not their true nature. Rather, the greed within him is compelling him to be good, because he hope to receive a reward for doing so.
The best way to overcome fear is through gently pushing yourself to do things that take you a little way out of your comfort zone, gradually increasing exposure until you can tolerate uncomfortable emotions.
At first, fear arises from mystery and uncertainty. But once the mind turns inward, studies, and observes deeply, the unseen becomes understood and fear transforms into calm insight. Gita and the Upanishads place fearlessness at the very foundation of spiritual life. Without overcoming fear, one cannot act in true freedom.

This is a deeply insightful reflection that beautifully blends psychology, philosophy, and spiritual wisdom. I especially appreciated the distinction between goodness arising from fear and goodness flowing naturally from one’s true character. Your thoughts on overcoming fear through understanding and gradual self-exploration are both practical and profound.

Sometimes fear is good but sometimes it becomes a torture. And I think the people who are anxious about fear slowly learn how to fight against it
