Luck and hard work

What’s a topic or issue about which you’ve changed your mind?

You don’t know whether you’re going to be born rich or poor, male or female, infirm or able-bodied, in the United States or India. All you know is that you get to take one ball out of a barrel with 5.8 billion balls in it. And that’s you.

Hard work creates the conditions for luck to flourish, while luck provides opportunities that hard work can capitalize on. So only hard work doesn’t make you sucessful it’s need luck in appropriate time. Similarly if luck is in your favour then you have to work hard to capitalise it.

Some people got sucess in 21 years, some 30, 40 and so on. I read a book of Morgan Housel ” the psychology of money” in this he described the sucess story of top billionaires of world. You clearly indentify the luck and risk factor very easily.

I grew up in that kind of surrounding environment since childhood, in which everyone told me that if I worked hard whether it’s study or any work, I would succeed. But over time, my belief changed. Not every unsuccessful person is stupid.

Break for natural space

Your life without a computer: what does it look like?

We are living in the era where computer is god and internet the blood in his veins. So now a days it’s hard to imagine a life without computer. But a simple, real and worriless life which is very close to nature, for which humanity is paramount, which knows the value of being human.

Somewhere we have lost the human touch. We were born to live in a society, not in some virtual world where people fake their identities. After all, we are not robots. We have feelings and emotions which a programmed computer can never understand.

We cannot live in our virtual fantasy world ignoring the real world. We need to realise that we have invented the internet technology, we are the masters and should not become slaves to this technology.

We should not allow the computer and internet to rule us but allow it to work for us. The internet is a wonderful technology but it needs to be used wisely. We’ve lived without it for millions of years, so we can say it’s not a basic human necessity. We can live a wonderful life without it.

Pointless complaints

What details of your life could you pay more attention to?

One day, definitely you’re going to find someone who loves you exactly how you deserve, without you having to beg or battle for that affection. A person who will not make unnecessary boasts or try to show any favors. There will be no inferiority complex or bitterness in the mind.

This love will feel easy, natural, like it’s just meant to be. It’ll be the kind of love that doesn’t make you question your worth or whether you’re enough. No unnecessary complaints and resentments there will only be mutual understanding, appreciation and acceptance.

You won’t have to constantly prove yourself or fight to keep their interest. There will be no fear of breaking that relationship. It’ll just be there, solid and unwavering. This person will see your value and cherish you for who you are, flaws and all.

They’ll love you in a way that feels like a sigh of relief, a coming home. And when that happens, you’ll wonder why you ever settled for anything less. It’ll be clear that love isn’t meant to be a constant struggle but a peaceful certainty.

Sense of purpose

In what ways does hard work make you feel fulfilled?

Growth automatically happens when we start doing hard work, it doesn’t matter you are qualified for that or not. With the time hard work make you feel confident that you are qualified, good enough and worthy.

Hard work gives a sense of purpose and personal belief of who we are, it strengthen our thoughts and make belief ourselves physically and mentally. We feel personally and socially strong. It increases our beliefs about our capabilities, potential and competence.

Hard work feel me fulfilled with a sense of purpose that’s feeling of having meaning, direction, and goals in life, providing a fundamental sense of value and motivation to achieve personally and socially meaningful, long-term objectives, often focused on contributing to something larger than oneself.

Gen Z revolutionary

Across the world, young people are protesting against corrupt governments, growing inequality and a lack of opportunities. But can these mass movements, which often begin on social media platforms, bring lasting change.

Gen Z is taking to the streets in the U.S., Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and now in some parts of India. These revolution arises due to economic injustice, lack of political representation, social inequality, suppression of freedoms and the yearning for dignity and self determination.

They often relied on mass mobilization, street protests ideological movements and sometimes violent confrontation to achieve change. Generation Z, however, approaches revolution differently.

Gen Z harnesses the power of social media, online campaigns, and global connectivity to amplify voices and organized movements an unprecedented speed. Unlike past generations that relied on physical gatherings, Gen Z often triggers virtual revolutions that ripple in to the real world.

Their struggles are not only against political autocracy but also against climate change, gender inequality, systemic racism digital surveillance and economic precarity.

End of Globalisation

What brands do you associate with?

Multinational brands making huge profits in other countries. They earn profit by producing in territories with lower production costs, cheaper labour, and a guaranteed supply of raw materials.

But the United States’ imposition of tariffs, as economically irrational that leads towards as end of globalisation. Government’s will promote and support local businesses and products manufactured in their homeland.

Turkish economist Dani Rodrik puts forward his theory of the “trilemma”. This theory states that democracy and national sovereignty are fundamentally incompatible with globalisation.

A tariff war poses a significant danger to globalization by increasing trade barriers, reducing overall world trade, disrupting global supply chains, and increasing costs for consumers and businesses, ultimately hindering global economic growth.

Tariffs, which act as taxes on imported goods, can lead to higher consumer prices and reduced business profit margins, while leading to a retreat from open economies and protectionism. Under this protectionism, everyone will lose. It would also mean the end of globalisation.

Can control desires

What could you do more of?

This world is full of various kinds of luxuries. Our human society is based on wants but it is not possible for anyone to fullfill all their desires. A famous saint said that ‘When you are joyful, how can you have desires? And how can you be joyful right now when you have desires?’

Basically our unnecessary desires leads us towards unhappiness, unrest and dissatisfaction. But if you think that all desires are painful that also not correct. When desire becomes stronger than us, then it hurts, and if it is within our control then there is no difficulty. Lesser the desire, better it is.

Nature and natural things

What things give you energy?

In this era this world running towards development and this development dependent on industries. The big cities flourishing on the strength of industrialization. Our increasing reliance on technology, combined with a global trend toward urban living, means many of us are spending less time outdoors. Somewhere we are getting away from nature.

Spending time in nature energizes me in different ways. Nature can generate many positive emotions, such as calmness, joy, and creativity and can facilitate concentration. Even i prefer fresh natural water instead of mineral water and veggies produced from organic farming or natural farming.

From walking through a city park to a day spent hiking in the wilderness, exposure to nature has been linked to a host of benefits, including improved attention, lower stress, improving mood, boosting physical health, reduced risk of psychiatric disorders, and even upticks in empathy and cooperation.

How I forget you

It is better to forget you now but even if I want to forget you, how can I do that?

You are a reality, not a dream but I still remember that sequences which could never happen. That one thing which was never said, that one accusation which was never true, that story which was very romantic and interesting but never became a reality.

That unplanned distence which has came in between us. That unpleasant loneliness that I found at a turning point in my life. No idea how to subside that unknown sorrow hidden in my heart. Who is interested to listen that story of desolate journey which have lots to say.

So it’s better to forget you now. But even if I want to forget you, how can I do that?

Cooking adventure

Write about your most epic baking or cooking fail.

Once we planned a picnic at a tourist spot in the Vindhyan hill range. There were some family members and relatives to get together. The weather was very pleasant and the beauty of the mountain valley was mesmerizing.

We all reached there timely and plan was to stay there the whole day. After a little fun and frolic, we began preparing for lunch under the open sky with the help of traditional cooking method. And after some time it started raining. It was raining so heavily, how can I describe it.

After waiting a while we arrange a temporary polythene shed attached with car. Somehow cooking started again but it wasn’t sufficient because of wind. Then the food that was prepared there that day, we will never forget it. That was one of an epic cooking failure for me.
